Welcome to Palm Toyota and the Palm Automall in Punta Gorda, Florida. Punta Gorda is located on the west coast of Florida between Sarasota and Fort Myers. A highly populated retirement area with a huge growth history over the last 20 years.

Robert and JoAnn Helphenstine started Palm Automotive in 1955. They originally purchased an existing Chevrolet dealership and started selling the very next day. Palm Toyota was purchased in September 1990, with it's original building in Port Charlotte, 10 miles north of our current location. In 1993, a new building was built at the 14-acre Palm Automall location in Punta Gorda, at which time Palm Toyota was added as the 10th franchise to the Palm Automall.
